KARAMUZA BAR

In this extension of Karamuza bar, we maintain the overall style of the place but also add some new elements. The extension is carried out as follows; The store remains as it is, keeping the original bar and steel showcase for drinks and mirroring it to create a 360 degrees bar, that forms the new core of the space. The steel showcase is now suspended from the ceiling, allowing visual contact on both sides of the bar. It is the main sight from every corner of the place and the main lighting source. The facade is extended in the same design logic, with metal frames that open in different ways depending on the season.
One of the aims was to create a small stage for live concerts. We selected to place it at a focal point that is visible form every corner of the bar and created three wooden levels with different high. But this space should also transform to seating area when there is no show. For this reason, we placed along the wall of the stage, a metal construction with movable small tables which are mounted on a roller rail. Depending on the occasion, these tables can be moved either to empty the stage for a concert or to create a seating area on it. The construction is decorated with blueprints of musical instruments and an installation made by bed springs forming the logo. We also built a four-level tall seating area, offering a better view to enjoy the live concerts.
